This is a good *summary* about injuries increasing among NBA stars, but it's missing a pretty huge aspect of the story - namely, any justification (speculative or otherwise) about WHY injuries are increasing. It's simply stated 'well, injuries are up and have been going up for the past few seasons', as though that's all anyone would be interested to know. I get that reporting isn't always explanatory, but this isn't a mystery of the cosmos level conundrum. Surely someone, somewhere has a guess as to why this is occurring.
