This led to gathering in speakeasies and an ever-growing number of tantalizing drink specialties to lure people out of their homes and into wetting their whistle illegally. Luckily you don’t have to know the secret password to get into any of these watering holes hiding in Spokane.Today we are experiencing a revolution of a different sort – the renaissance of craft cocktails (where every element is handmade especially to suit the drink). Located in downtown Spokane, on Riverside, Wooden City offers a unique happy hour menu – many of its items are not available on the regular menu!By far one of the best happy hour deals is the Tavern Burger, which goes for $15 (with fries!) during happy hour. Grab that and the classic mozzarella cheesy bread, and thank us later!Be sure to make a reservation in advance – Wooden City books up quickly and you won’t be surprised to see a packed house even by 5:15 PM.Happy Hour everyday from 4 – 5:30 PMHappy hour: Monday through Friday from 3 to 6:30 pm in the bar for food and drink.If you’re looking for a great view and good happy hour deals, head to Anthony’s. Anthony’s is one of my top spots to take out-of-town friends and family, especially in the spring and summer when the falls are roaring! While you will have to enjoy happy hour at the bar, and not get a spot outside to watch the falls, there’s nothing stopping you from getting some pictures before or after your meal!Happy hour at Anthony’s runs from 3-6:30 M-F (one of the more generous happy hours out there!) and offers discounts like:With Spokane Guild Award-Winning Rising Star Chef, Blake Kaba, this spot is a sure fire win. Craveable shareables like the Wicked Shrimp (which I am still DREAMING about) with mascarpone polenta, harissa sauce and grilled crostini and their short rib egg rolls with slow-braised short rib, roasted corn and char-roasted tomato aioli will make you a super fan of this north side destination.From 2-6 PM, 1898 offers a Happy Hour that is $2 off shareables.Don’t be limited to just the shareables, though – go for the gold with their entrees and the famous “Ooey Gooey Lemon Bar” to satisfy your sweet tooth.Find 1898 Public House menu here.Zona Blanca offers a happy hour from 3-5 PM, with $5 margaritas, $6 frozens and $3 tacos.On good weather days, grab your tacos ($3, happy hour price) and house margarita ($5) and head to ZB’s delightful patio. While not on the happy hour menu, we encourage you to splurge on some oysters or ceviche while you’re there!If you haven’t been to Cascadia Public House yet, this is the very first place you need to go the next time you want to enjoy happy hour!Cascadia Public House has something going on every day (be sure to follow them on Instagram!) and Cascadia’s happy hour is from 3-6 PM, Monday through Saturday, and all day on Sunday.Cascadia now also offers a late night happy hour from 10 pm-close (excludes food).You can enjoy discounts on Cascadia’s famous pretzels with beer cheese (or cashew queso, for those vegans in Spokane!), $4 margaritas, and much more.When it comes to casual cocktail hour – this is your spot. Plus, you have the benefit of getting to peek in and see sweet doggies from the Spokane Humane Society who are up for adoption! Talk about a win-win! Bark’s Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 2 to 5pm and daily 8 PM to close.I’m a big fan of the dog bone pretzels with an assortment of toppings and the Bark Boards, which are perfect for sharing. Don’t forget the epic Bloody Mary for either happy hour or brunch! It’s a show-stopper.Love the Perry District but not really sure where to go for happy hour? Francaise is a newcomer to the area, but WOW are their happy hour options excellent!From 3-5 PM daily, enjoy $5 plates and drinks like pommes frites, deviled eggs with caviar, and more. We highly recommend the deviled eggs – they are incredible!Love watching the game (any game!) and hanging out with friends? Enjoy all of that plus happy hour at Pint House! There are actually two Pint House locations, but the one we go to and know the best is North Pint House on Indian Trail Road (the other location is in Spokane Valley.)From 3-5 pm Monday through Friday, enjoy $1 off all beer and wine. Taco Vado is hands down one of the top Mexican food places in Spokane (more SoCal-inspired, but still super delicious) and an excellent place for vegetarians in Spokane, too.Best of all, Taco Vado has a terrific happy hour from Tuesday-Fridays, 2-5 PM with discounts on pitchers of beer ($12), $5 drafts, and $15 for a bottle of wine. They make it in-house and it’s some of the best I’ve ever had. Pillowy and comforting, it’s the perfect pair with any cocktail.
