SubscribeBy|Donald Trump had a rather interesting first day during his trial in New York.Trump obliterated Attorney General Letitia James, as well as going on a rant about Judge Arthur Engoron.However, later in the day, he applauded the judge for a reminder regarding the statute of limitations.In other words, it was just another normal day in Trump's world.Attorney General Letitia James was shredded by Trump for bringing these charges against him.On Truth Social, Trump posted, "The rarely used Executive Law that the N.Y.A.G. is proceeding under is VERY UNFAIR, and being used against me for that reason. NY Executive Law 63 (12) does not require a victim, traditional elements of fraud are eliminated (the only such law!), the law allows a politically elected partisan prosecutor to convince a politically elected judge, who may be friends, to destroy even a Political Opponent. This law may not be Constitutional and is not FAIR, and that is why terrible A.G. James chose it to use against me!!!"After having made previous comments chiding the presiding judge, Judge Engoron, Trump applauded him for one action.Trump told reporters after day one, "That last five minutes was outstanding because the judge essentially conceded that the statute of limitations that we won at the court of appeals is in effect. Therefore, about 80% of the case is over."Trump continued, "The way I interpret that, and the way the room seems to interpret that is that the statute of limitations is a very real thing in this country. And about 80% of this case would be over."I can guarantee you that Trump will not have anything nice to say after day two, as he is in the process of getting ripped by the judge over a Truth Social post that Trump made about the judge's clerk.Trump claimed that she was Senator Chuck Schumer's (D-N.Y.) girlfriend, but where he got that idea remains to be seen other than a picture of Schumer taken with the woman.Engoron has since ordered Trump to stop posting about the court staff, or he will face "serious sanctions."Trump is already up against it, and he is making matters worse with these posts on Truth Social.It is almost a given he is going to lose this case, so stay quiet, and let your attorneys win the case on appeal.Don't WaitWe publish the objective news, period.
