Author, Kelly Cohen, provides the fairest headline and article of the multiple sources I've read on this topic (NY Daily News, AP, & CNN). She includes links to many reports and sources of data to back up the claim made in the headline. While other news sources listed the same sources, many of them didnt provide the actual links to the original reports - something critical to a reader like me who wants to quickly discern whether the data can be trusted. Kelly also includes data from sources that weren't mentioned by the other news sources, including The Global Terrorism Database and European statistics on far-right attacks. An overall great, impartial piece that is data-heavy for those who want to dive deeper.
