A 19-year-old was killed and another man was injured during a shooting Monday morning at a northwest Atlanta house party, police said.Officers who responded to the gunfire in the 1400 block of Norris Place around 12:30 a.m. found one person dead in the front yard, Atlanta police spokesman Officer Steve Avery said.He was later identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office as Tyriq Scales. A second gunshot victim was taken to the hospital and was stable, according to police.“The investigation revealed the victims had been at a party at the location when the shooting occurred,” Avery said.Norris Place was shut down for hours while officers investigated. The house and a nearby church were searched, but no arrests were made, according to Channel 2 Action News. Police have not released a description of the suspect.This is at least the second time that a house party in northwest Atlanta has ended in gun violence in recent weeks.Raezion Boyd, 18, and De’yshun Clark, 19, were killed July 24 when gunfire erupted outside a house party in the Vine City neighborhood, authorities said. They had just gotten out of a rideshare vehicle on Sunset Avenue about 2:30 a.m. when two gunmen opened fire, Atlanta police Lt.
